Amusingly, a photo of me on strike has made it's way into the March 3rd Edition of 'The Economist' magazine. I was at the UCU rally in Newcastle on Thursday 22nd February and a photographer asked if he could take a photo of my home-made strike placard. He asked me not to look at the camera and not to smile, so I look kind of angry. I'm just glad people like my slogan. I'd rather have my current pension plan, but perhaps I could also get a blue peter badge?
Thanks to Dr Tim Revell who spotted the pic! Coincidentally, his book about maths is really good.
